Located in downtown Milwaukee, the Milwaukee School of Public Health will renovate an existing 32,700 GSF five-story building, in addition to constructing a 23,100 GSF five-story as part of the redevelopment of the Historic Pabst Brewery. KMI was responsible for installing the 12″ x 48″ terra cotta wall panels using clips and an aluminum, horizontal track-system as a part of a rainscreen cladding system. We dressed the building with a raincoat, where the panels serve as the outer skin of a double-layer construction plan; the exterior wall keeps out the rain while the interior layer provides insulation, prevents excessive air leakage and carries wind loading.
